Refund Policy

Premium refunds of any insurance coverage paid for through this web site will be processed according to the terms and conditions of the insurance policy, and in accordance with standard insurance industry regulated practices. Please read all coverage documents carefully. NC Grange Mutual follows NC Department of Insurance regulations as they pertain to refunding policy premiums

Refunds due to overpayment of your premium (including reductions in premium due to endorsements) usually take 10-14 business days to process. A check will be mailed to the insured or their mortgagee (if the policy is escrowed).

If you wish to cancel your policy, we must receive a written/signed request from the insured. Requests can be mailed, faxed or a scanned copy emailed. Refunds on policies cancelled by insured request will be mailed to the insured or their mortgagee (if the policy is escrowed) 10-14 business days after the cancellation request is processed or 10-14 business days after the requested cancellation date whichever is later.

No payments will be processed on policies that have cancelled for non-pay (including two returned checks) and which are beyond the required reinstatement period without prior authorization. If the policy cannot be reinstated, checks will be returned undeposited and credit card payments will be returned to the source.
